The MedStation Story
MedStation’s founders have successfully owned and operated their own private practice, Signature Dermatology, for over ten years.
Throughout the years, they have been meticulously focusing on the subtle nuances of daily interactions in order to provide the best patient experiences. As their practice grew, they constantly needed to revisit and analyze the layout of the office to maintain a warm and inviting space for their patients as well as a productive environment for their staff. A generic office layout consisting of one hallway with many rooms methodically changed into a well-thought-out “pod system” to separate providers to increase privacy and maximize patient flow and staff productivity.
With this improved layout and a unique blend of medical, business, and real estate experience, the Signature Dermatology team decided to use its 5-Star practice talents to open the ultimate patient-driven medical coworking space.
Understanding how doctors practice medicine is essential in designing a floorplan that allows the flexibility to be private in certain moments and collaborative in others.
